Job Description
This is a contract role, based in London with remote working. The role offers up to £550 per day ( Outside IR35 subject to Assessment ). It is initially for 6 months and is likely to be extendable. You must be eligible to work in the UK. This role is for a top Global Consulting Firm.
Must-Have:
- Strong experience (15+ years) in advising clients on their data & analytics (big data, BI, AI/ML) /digital strategy, roadmap, and use cases
- Experience in Data Analysis / Some Experience in Big Data tools - Cloud data lakes in Microsoft Azure, AWS
- Experience in BI: MicroStrategy, Power BI
Other required Experiences:
- Possesses strong problem-solving and consulting mindset - prior experience of driving consulting projects in data / digital space for multi-national clients is mandatory:
- Experience having driven large 5Mn+ deal / engagement size
- Experience in MS-Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in working with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
- Solution architecture design experience
- Master data management system and process design experience
- Has a sound understanding of data management organization design, operating and delivery models for data initiatives, roles and responsibilities and technologies
- Understanding of data privacy requirements (GDPR) and its implications on design, team structure, Info sec policies and data operations
- Business knowledge of POS systems such as NCR Aloha / Compris, Transight-Preferred
- Cloud, Business intelligence and/or analytics certification-Preferred
- Experience of working in the Quick Service Restaurants and/or Retail/CPG space-Preferred
- Advanced degree in Computer Science/Mathematics or B.A. in a technical or quantitative discipline with an emphasis on business applications. M.S./M.B.A.-Preferred
