Job Description
This role is to support multiple solutions projects to implement, integrate, and analyse systems across various industry verticals. It is a an opportunity to join a growing team of a dynamic IT services and solutions provider. The role is based in our office in the Slough, Berkshire, UK. There may be occasional travel to our clients’ sites.
Technical Duties
● To research, analysis, evaluate, test, develop, and integrate applications for our clients
● To troubleshoot, fix and maintain applications and systems of our clients network
● To improve efficiency of business data analyses, communication systems analyses; to enhance systems performance for operational & technical functionality.
● To log and respond to support calls by email and telephone
● To troubleshooting technical issues with hardware, software, cloud services and user permissions
● To inspect installation and configuration during onsite visit and through remote access
● To plan and undertake scheduled maintenance activities and upgrades Client Liaison
● Remote support to the clients using remote access tools
● On-call support to the clients
● Occasional visits to client offices, including deskside assistance to users Third-party Liaison
● Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and distributors supplying hardware, software and services
● Coordinate with companies providing third-party support direct to clients Administration
● Maintain records of software licences
● Maintain records of hardware serial numbers and maintenance agreements
● Maintain inventory of equipment, accessories and other supplies Other duties
● Occasional out-of-hours working Technical Skills
Qualification / Certification
● Degree in Engineering
● Experience of the latest IT and software trends
● Experience in CRM and ERP systems implementation is desirable
