Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for a contract role inside IR35 initially for 6 months, extendable. Role is based in London with remote working allowed. You must be in the UK and eligible to work.

The role is responsible for the outsourced Payroll implementations and transitions to selected vendors. Reporting to the Senior payroll project manager

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the implementation plan(s)
  • Proactively take action to ensure the delivery of the project is in line with business objectives
  • Responsible gathering requirements, designing the solution, testing it and implementing it
  • Work with vendors/vendor partners in resolving issues and escalates unresolved matters & or conflicts in project deliverables to the project manager
  • Experience in implementing Payroll outsourcing projects
  • Partner with stakeholders in corporate, local HR offices, HRIS, ES, local finance, incumbent payroll service provider to ensure a effective implementation
  • Proven proficiency with projects: initiating, planning, execution, control and closeout
  • Possess consulting skills, including conducting business needs analysis and understanding of enterprise solutions design
  • Familiar with functional/operational payroll and associated nuances pre payroll, & post payroll
  • Have previous experience of working with vendors in a regionally dispersed team of professional services employees
  • Experience in working with payroll vendors like ADP, BDO, DELOITTE, etc (Preferred)
  • SAP HR Functional/Technical experience (Preferred)
  • Working knowledge of project management standard methodologies (PMBOK, Prince 2) is an advantage
